Ieva Birģele is a glass artist from Riga, Latvia.

About ten years ago, Ieva realised that the closest material to her is glass and since then she has gotten to know this material in various techniques and sizes. 

After graduating, Ieva has participated in many exhibitions and events and continues to develop as a glass artist. But already during her studies, she was also interested in various miniature forms and techniques, as a result of which the glass jewellery brand Glass Berries was created.

Glass is a magical material, thanks to its natural forms, clarity, and intensity of colors, which no other material can replicate, it carries a light and charming elegance.

Glass jewellery is handcrafted with fire, passion, and knowledge, and is based on the beauty and value of individuality.

Every creation of nature is unique and unrepeatable, and this is my main idea about the creation process. Each piece of jewellery glass I create is unique and will always be organic shapes and slightly different with each design.
