Utilising jewellery as one way we creatively engage the physical world around us, they ask – where does our identity lie and how are we able to express our unique keynotes? A perpetual process of exploring how expansive concepts may be simplified, destroyed, rebuilt, expanded upon, whilst shining light on their purest essence.

"I anchor life’s energetic principles into the physical. Creating based on impulses of meditative contemplations, collaborative mental work, and engaged emotional intelligence. Each design serves as an invitation to participate in exploration of our individual nature conjunct with our inherent group nature - the fractals within the whole, The One and the many. The work poses a series of musings: In what ways might we experience delight in discovery? How might self expression foster fantastic, inspired connectivity? In what ways might simplicity make sense of our complex individuality in the wholeness of humanity? I create steel and powder coated jewellery that pairs structural minimalism with saturated colors - as a means to inspire curiosity, joy, delight, clarity in expression. I carve, destroy, rebuild, and refine wax to cast in sterling silver as more localised expressions of the same thought forms. Leaning boldly into our individuality whilst fully honouring our group nature. Simultaneously unique whilst completely the same. These symbols hold deep value and are also completely meaningless. Echoing the tension of our existence." - Jen Pape
