Giacomo Pollesel is a designer, researcher, and entrepreneur, with an MSc in Design and Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. He worked as a computational designer and researcher at Brunel University London and other research institutions in Italy and the UK. He worked on innovation projects with different companies in the fashion and biomedical industries (like Vans, Timberland, Blatchford and others).

In 2020, he founded Officine 19, a small jewellery brand based in London. The idea behind the studio is using technology as a tool as much as an inspiration, exploiting techniques inherited from previous experiences, for imagining the jewellery of the future.
