Tomáš Miškovič has been a jeweller for over 20 years. After a start in fine jewellery, he quickly found his passion for art jewellery, winning several awards for his designs and techniques. At the same time, Tomas has stayed true to his roots in traditional gold-smithing, using established materials - gold, sterling silver, colourful stones – and techniques. 

With his label “Unexpected Jewellery”, Tomáš Miškovič attempts to break the rules of “ordinary” jewellery and of the expected. Each piece is an experiment in pushing the boundaries of the craft and attempting to re-invent what jewellery can be. He focuses on rings as he believes they are the only jewellery you wear only for yourself.

Tomáš is mainly attracted to a modern aesthetic, his rings are inspired by geometric shapes, architectural designs and abstract visions of nature. However, he takes particular care to design each piece to be wearable, as he believes that his jewellery belongs out in the real world, adorning the hands of those who decide to wear his unique pieces.
